MANAGEMENT PROFILE AND SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
PINKIE MOCHUMI
Founder and Executive Director
Pinkie has over 22 years’ extensive experience in managing Boards of Companies, and special governance projects in diverse sectors such as the Energy, Telecoms, Agriculture, Education, Technology, Transport, Information Technology, Media, Insurance and State-Owned Enterprise (SOE’s) to name a few. Pinkie departed from the corporate sector in 2012 for a sabbatical and was inspired to start Azilwa in 2013 with just one client, growing into a robust team of professionals and a sizeable client base.
Azilwa’s growth over the years, leading up to a 10-year anniversary in 2023, can be attributed to their resilience and perseverance. Their passion, efficiency and innovative solutions continue to drive them into becoming a reputable company in the hearts and minds of good corporates in South Africa. As the firm leader of Azilwa, Pinkie has championed turn-around strategies, motivated for change, and promoted increased accountability in various roles where she participated as a Governance Advisor. She continues to be active in championing learning campaigns in SOE’s, administrating BEE Schemes, and is a Company Secretary to various companies leading with a team of qualified professionals.
She has qualifications in Procurement and Supply Chain, Marketing, Cost Management and Accounting, Customer Service, and Strategic Management and other leadership courses. A seasoned professional in the field of Corporate Governance, Compliance, Board of Directors Administration.
BUSI ZWANE
Office & Secretariat Manager
Busi has a dual role as she heads up our office management, HR and special projects for efficient delivery of daily work flow, special assignments and projects with her team. She ensures the smooth running of our offices on a day-to-day basis which includes a host of activities from planning, co-ordinating, liaising with clients, problem solving and does it with exceptional administrative flair.
Her second role, she serves as a Secretariat Officer to our various clients. Her enthusiastic and outstanding delivery has repeatedly afforded Azilwa accolades and shining referrals.
JOSHUA PULE
Deal Advisor in Mergers & Acquisitions and Deal Structuring
Joshua is an alternative Investments Specialist with emerging markets, particularly the Africa and South American Continents. He brings valuable experience to the Azilwa team spanning from his 14 years in the banking and investment industry.
He supports the professional team in transaction consultations, business acquisitions and articulation of deal transaction steps.
